EXTERNAL WALL INSULATION SERVICE
We have a wide range of insulation alternatives for unfinished basements, garages, outside wall insulation and other no-drywalled areas.
Outside walls insulation, choices include standard fiberglass batts, spray foam, rigid foam board, blow-in fiberglass, blown-in cellulose, and waterproof and fireproof insulation.
WALL BLOW-IN INSULATION
If drywall has already been built, it can be difficult to insulate the wall or put insulation for noise reduction or insulations such as vapor barrier for walls. Our professionals at Rockville Insulation have found a solution to this dilemma by investing in advanced tools to insulate both interior and exterior walls without the need for removal or drywall.
To insulate interior walls, we punch two-inch holes in each cavity and refill them with cellulose blown-in insulation. For sound absorption, cellulose is a dense and heavy insulating material that can be packed densely.
Exterior walls are filled fiberglass insulation by drilling two-inch holes and blowing it in.
Afterwards, the holes in both internal and external walls are filled with a foam or wooden stopper. In cases where siding was taken from your exterior wall, it will be reinstalled following the installation of the plug.
SPRAY FOR AND RIGID FOAM BOARD FOR WALL INSULATION
Insulation is more challenging when the joists are too close together. Our wall insulation specialists use closed-cell spray foam, which is available in to fix that problem.
When compared to typical batts, closed-cell spray foam offers a strong R7 value per inch.
If you don't need our spray foam system for a small task, we can swiftly and easily install rigid foam board insulation.
